Winlock Improvement Network: Community and Change in Action
Winlock Improvement Network (WIN), founded in May 2015, is a non-profit organization set on revitalizing the city. In 2016 alone, WIN helped local businesses with construction and interior design work, put on a farmers market and Labor Day picnic, worked to improve Internet service provider options and connectivity issues, and supported local organizations with fundraisers ranging from car washes to selling food to hungry cyclists during the annual Seattle To Portland bicycle ride.
Winlock Improvement Network Bringing Saturday Farmers Market to Town
Two Winlock organizations are getting ready for a weekly farmers market in the South Lewis County town this summer. The Winlock Improvement Network, with support from the Lions Club, will be holding a farmers market every Saturday from June 4 through Sept. 24.
Winlock revitalization movement
The Winlock Improvement Network is a group consisting of many Winlock citizens from various groups and organizations in the town. City council members, Lions and Lioness Club members, police officers, and various other clubs, groups, and organization are represented. All of these people meet with one common goal: revitalizing the city and community with involvement from all of the community.
